Tips & Tricks for New Players

Quick, practical JoJo: Golden Spirit habits worth building from day one — stacking free rewards, keeping your team balanced, and chaining RUSH instead of hoping for it.

A short list of habits worth forming early, with links to the full guide behind each one.

  • Pre-register before launch. It's free, the reward milestones are already maxed out, and a store pre-order should auto-install the moment the game goes live on August 13, 2026. See How to Download.
  • Claim every free summon before you touch a paid pull. Login rewards, pre-registration mail, and event currency all add up — see the full sequence in the Day-One Checklist.
  • Keep a reroll short, if you do one at all. This game leans on a balanced roster more than any single SSR, so a long reroll session usually costs more time than it returns. Full reasoning in the Reroll Guide.
  • Build across fighting styles, not around one. A team stacked into a single style leaves obvious gaps and makes RUSH harder to reach — see Fighting Styles and the Best Team Guide.
  • Plan for RUSH instead of hoping it happens. It triggers off three Ultimates from three different fighting styles landing close together, so a roster that only leans on one or two styles is leaving a team-wide damage bonus on the table. Details in Energy & Cooldowns.
  • Don't write off duplicate characters. Extra copies convert into Star-level fragments, which is a real stat boost, not a wasted pull — see Gacha & Summoning Explained.
  • Account for weather and positioning, not just character strength. Two confirmed environments already change how a fight plays out mid-battle, and a formation you never adjust is ignoring part of the game. See Weather System and Formation Grid.
  • Check for active codes regularly, especially right after launch — they tend to expire fast. The current list lives on Redeem Codes.
