Day-One Checklist
The first-hour order that actually matters for JoJo: Golden Spirit's August 13, 2026 launch — claim your rewards, check the real rates, secure your account, then decide on a reroll.
JoJo: Golden Spirit launches on August 13, 2026, and the first hour goes smoother in a specific order — one that costs nothing to follow and is a pain to undo if you skip ahead. The short version: claim what's waiting for you, check the real summon rates, lock your account down, and only then think about rerolling.
Note:
This is a launch-day sequence built from confirmed rewards and mechanics — not a menu-by-menu walkthrough, since nobody's seen the actual UI yet. We'll tighten this up with real screens once servers are live.
Before you even open the app
- Pre-register if you haven't. All reward milestones were already reached ahead of launch, and a store pre-order should install automatically the moment the game goes live — see How to Download for the platform-specific routes.
- Clear some storage space. Install size hasn't been published, so it's safer to over-clear than to get caught short.
- Don't plan around a fighting style yet. No source has mapped characters to their styles pre-launch, so pick your target characters by who you want to play, and confirm their style once you're actually in-game.
Your first hour, in order
- Claim the pre-registration rewards. Expect 200,000 Coins, 600 Astrogem, 20 Stone of Destiny, 10 Card: Uncharted Fate, 2 Extreme Trial Keys, and a free SR Joseph Joestar. Don't spend any of it yet.
- Open the summon screen and read the rate disclosure before pulling anything. This is worth doing before you touch a single pull — it tells you the real SSR rate and whether a pity ceiling exists, which no pre-launch guide can tell you in advance. See Gacha & Summoning Explained for how to read it.
- Bind your account to a real login, not a guest session. A guest account tied to your device only can lose everything — pre-registration rewards included — if the app ever gets reinstalled.
- Now decide on a reroll, with the actual rates in front of you instead of a guess. The Reroll Guide covers the full case, but the short version holds here too: this game rewards a balanced roster more than one specific SSR, so keep any reroll attempt short.
- Redeem any active codes. Check Redeem Codes — launch codes tend to be short-lived, and free currency is worth more on day one than it is a week later.
- Spend your first big pull in one block, not spread across several small sessions — concentrated pulls are the safer bet under basically any pity structure.
- Learn the one manual input in combat. Fights run automatically except for one thing: when a character's Energy bar fills, their portrait flashes, and tapping it fires their Ultimate on your call. Since RUSH needs three different-style Ultimates landing close together, that tap is your only real lever mid-fight.
What to ignore on day one
- Any tier list published before launch, including ours — every ranking written before real combat data exists is an estimate, and we say so directly on the page.
- "Best team" posts from the first few hours. Fighting styles are confirmed, but which character belongs to which style isn't — so an early team post is guessing at half its own inputs. Our Best Team Guide is built the same way and says so.
- Rushing the main story over building a stable roster. An auto-battler like this one rewards the account you build carefully in week one more than the one that cleared chapters the fastest.
